Summer in Scotland
A summer 2026 escape for those who crave beauty, slow dinners, and wild hills.
The kind of trip where you don’t have to perform, just show up, enjoy, and see where the adventure takes you.
About this trip
June 2026 is calling all wanderers, beauty chasers, and people who need a deep exhale: This summer in Scotland adventure is for you.
We’ll spend a week moving through two of the country’s most breathtaking regions - the wild, cinematic Highlands and the coastal charm of Fife. We’ll be staying in thoughtfully chosen luxury properties where we’ll have exclusive use (and views).
Expect hills and cliffs and cows (yes, Highland ones). Expect sea views and fluffy beds and award-winning meals made by local hands. Expect mist, breeze, blue skies, probably rain, and moments that take you by surprise.
We’ll take Land Rovers through the hills, explore castles, spot puffins, and take a cooking class that just might become a core memory. There’s time to slow down, options to choose your own pace, and a few surprises I won’t spoil.
This is a trip for people with taste and curiosity - people who want to see Scotland in a way that feels intimate, effortless, and unforgettable.
Come solo, come with a loved one, come ready to fall in love with cinematic, moody; unforgettable Scotland.

Itinerary
June 3-9, 2026
We left a few details off the list. For reasons. You’ll see.
We intentionally keep our groups intimate.
Spots are limited.
-
Arrival & Highland Welcome
We’ll gather in Edinburgh and begin our journey north — toward slow days, crisp air, and scenery that feels too beautiful to be real.
Along the way, we’ll stretch our legs in an ancient forest that feels plucked from Narnia. Breathe deep — this is the moment it all begins. You’ve arrived in the Highlands.
We’ll check in to our private retreat, tucked into the landscape and full of charm. Wander the grounds, unpack slowly, curl up in a chair with a view — this is your time to settle in.
That evening, we’ll gather by candlelight for a welcome dinner prepared by our private chef — a cozy, seasonal meal crafted from local ingredients and shared around the table with new friends.
Dinner included
-
Land Rovers + Village Wandering
Ease into the day with a slow morning — sip your coffee, linger over the view, and let the pace of the Highlands begin to settle into your bones.
Late morning, we’ll set off in Land Rovers with local drivers for a breathtaking off-road drive through the hills — a route carved through rugged beauty and wide-open skies. It’s the kind of joy you can’t plan, only feel.
We'll spend time in a nearby village where you can explore at your own pace: visit a local distillery, wander to a waterfall, pop into small shops, or settle in somewhere cozy for lunch.
That afternoon, we’ll make our way back to the farm — with time to rest, read, or simply take in the quiet one more time.
That evening, we’ll gather for dinner at a Michelin Guide hidden gem — a beautifully prepared, locally inspired meal that ends the day the way all good days should.
Meals included: Breakfast + Dinner
-
Cooking Class, Charming Village, & Slow Wandering
We’ll begin the day with a hands-on seasonal cooking class led by a local chef and set against a backdrop of Highland views. No need to be an expert in the kitchen; this is about savoring the process, the flavors, and the moment.
After lunch, we’ll head into a nearby village that feels lifted from a storybook. Spend the afternoon your way: wander into shops, stroll by the river, or find a quiet bench with a pastry that makes you consider canceling your return flight.
Dinner is on your own tonight, with a curated list of local favorites — cozy pubs, elegant little bistros, and everything in between.
Meals included: Breakfast + Lunch
-
Castles, Cliffs & Comfort Food
We’ll begin with a morning stop at Aran Bakery — the beloved, small-town bakery owned by Great British Bake Off alum Flora Shedden. Everything is seasonal, beautiful, and worth writing home about (or at least texting someone immediately).
From there, we’ll take a scenic drive to Dunnottar Castle — a crumbling cliffside fortress set high above the sea. It’s haunting, windswept, and cinematic in the best way.
Lunch will be simple and relaxed — picnic-style or from the concession stand, depending on the weather and our collective mood.
We’ll spend time wandering the ruins and coastal trails, taking in North Sea views and the kind of salty air that clears your head in the best way.
Dinner that evening is at a local hidden gem — cozy, delicious, and exactly what you’ll want after a day of sea air and stone paths.
Meals included: Breakfast + Dinner
-
Castles & a Coastal Shift to Fife
We’ll begin with a slow Highland morning — one last linger, one more coffee with a view — before we softly say goodbye to the hills and head south.
Our first stop is Blair Castle, a grand and storied estate with sweeping grounds and centuries of history tucked into every detail. It’s the kind of place that makes time feel like a suggestion.
From there, we’ll make our way into Fife — a coastal region known for its seaside charm, royal history, and little villages that feel pulled from a novel.
We’ll visit Falkland Palace, once a favorite retreat of Mary Queen of Scots. Stroll the gardens, explore the halls, and yes — see the oldest tennis court in the world. (Outlander fans will recognize the village instantly.)
Dinner tonight is at a charming local pub. Tucked away in a tiny village, you’d never know this foodie power-house is here. The locals rave about it but you have to know to find this one - it’s special.
Then we’ll check into our next home: seaside luxury with Highland cows nearby and views you won’t want to forget.
Meals included: Breakfast + Dinner
-
Puffins & Farewell Vibes
Today, we take to the sea.
After a slow breakfast, we’ll board a boat and head to a nearby uninhabited island — the kind of wild, wind-swept place that feels like another world. Keep your eyes open for puffins, seals, and whatever else the coast decides to reveal. Breathe in the sea air. Let the rhythm of the waves slow you down.
That evening, we’ll gather for a private farewell dinner prepared by our chef and served with sweeping views of the sea. This is our moment to savor the week: to laugh, to reflect, and to hold the beauty of it all just a little tighter before tomorrow’s goodbye.
