An invitation to rest, reconnect, and experience autumn in one of the world’s most spectacular landscapes — the Scottish Highlands.

About this trip

For the women who do it all - this one’s for you.

We’re heading to the Scottish Highlands in October 2026 for a curated escape full of warmth, depth, and the quiet magic of autumn.

Designed for women who crave atmosphere, intention, and the kind of travel that feels both restorative and rich, this is small group travel done differently.

You’ll stay in boutique accommodations with history and heart, savor meals that linger, and explore villages and landscapes that feel pulled from the pages of a novel.

Expect crisp air, cozy pubs, slow mornings, and autumnal color that makes you fall a little in love with the world again. There will be local makers, scenic drives, excellent food, and time built in to rest, wander, and take it all in.

It’s the kind of trip that feels like a love letter. Like the Scotland you always hoped existed. And it does.

Come cozy. Come curious. Come ready to feel like yourself again..

Itinerary

October 14-20, 2026

We intentionally left a few surprises off the itinerary. You’ll just have to wait.

We intentionally keep our groups intimate.

Spots are limited.

  • Arrival and Highland Welcome

    • Group pickup in Edinburgh

    • Stretch your legs in the charming 17th century village of Culross (Outlander filming location)

    • We’ll also stop at a local cafe for a coffee and treat before continuing into the Highlands.

    • Settle in to our private Highland retreat. Explore the property or rest up before dinner.

    • Welcome Dinner: Slow, candlelit dinner by a private chef using seasonal, local ingredients.

    • Dinner included

  • A Day to Savor

    • Slow morning — Sleep in. Sip something warm. Step outside for a quiet walk, or stay in and enjoy the view. We designed this part of the day on purpose - to give your mind and body space to settle.

    • Seasonal cooking class - Step into the kitchen with an acclaimed local chef and learn to create something comforting, seasonal, and deeply Scottish. This isn’t a demo - it’s hands-on, full of laughter, stories, and flavor. You’ll leave full (in every sense).

    • Afternoon free time - Rest, read, journal, wander a woodland path, or just sit still for once. There’s no itinerary here - just time that’s fully yours.

    • Dinner out — We’ll end the day with a slow, beautiful dinner at a local favorite featured in the Michelin Guide. The kind of place that doesn’t brag but quietly serves some stunning food.

    • Breakfast and Dinner included

  • Cairngorms, Castles, and Luxury

    • Depart after breakfast for a scenic drive into the Cairngorms National Park

    • Enjoy a private tour of a 17th century castle in my favorite Highland village - stone, history (Queen Victoria, RL Stevenson; Jacobites), and sweeping views

    • Settle in for afternoon tea at The Fife Arms, one of the most celebrated hotels in Scotland (Victorian elegance, original Picasso’s, and crackling fireplaces galore). It’s not uncommon for celebrities to be sighted here (royalty too as Balmoral Castle is just up the road).

    • Enjoy a slow afternoon your way:

      • Stroll through local shops (don’t miss the chocolate shop)

      • Visit the Kindrochit ruins or historic village church

      • Walk quiet village paths or stop into Robert Louis Stevenson’s old haunts

      • Or simply curl up in the lounge with a whisky and soak it all in

    • Gather in the evening for dinner at The Flying Stag, a cozy pub tucked inside The Fife Arms -the perfect end to a full, beautiful day

    • Return to our accommodations later that night, warm and well-fed

    • Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included

  • Glencoe, Castles, and Candlelight

    • Today we head west to explore majestic Glencoe — a place of haunting beauty, dramatic peaks, and centuries-old stories. It’s one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes for good reason: cinematic (Skyfall, Harry Potter, Monty Python), deeply historic, and breathtaking views at every turn.

    • We’ll stop at the site where Hagrid’s hut was built and filmed for The Prisoner of Azkaban - a quiet, misty spot that feels like another world entirely.

    • A visit to the Glencoe Visitor Centre gives us space to take it all in — the land, the history, the sheer scale of the place.

    • In the afternoon, we’ll visit Kilchurn Castle, one of the most photographed castles in Scotland. Set beside a glassy loch and surrounded by open pastures, don’t be surprised if Highland cows or sheep make an appearance.

    • We’ll return to the farm in time to exhale, settle in, and gather for a chef-prepared feast by candlelight.

    • Breakfast and Dinner included

  • Highland Village Charm

    • Enjoy a final breakfast before we check out and continue our journey.

    • Then we’ll head to a charming Highland village that will be our home for the next few days - quiet, walkable, and full of character. Think cathedral built in the 1200’s, artisanal shops, the Birnam Oak (mentioned in Shakespeare’s Macbeth), and stunning farm-to-table food spots. It has it all.

    • Spend the afternoon your way: stroll along the river, explore the winding streets, or pop into a few local shops.

    • Today is about slowing down - settling in, stretching your legs, letting the rhythm shift.

    • That evening, we’ll share an intimate oven-fired pizza dinner along the river before turning in for a good night’s rest.

    • Breakfast and Dinner included

  • Forests, Waterfalls, and Castles

    • We’ll begin with a slow breakfast and a view - a gentle start to our final full day together.

    • Then it’s off for a walk beneath ancient Douglas firs, their branches stretching high above us. We’ll stop to take in a waterfall along the way, and if we’re lucky, spot a red squirrel or two tucked into the trees.

    • Afterward, we’ll visit a Highland castle and the famous House of Bruar - one last echo of stone and story and luxury shopping.

    • That evening, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner overlooking the River Tay - a cozy, stunning meal to mark the end of something beautiful and the start of whatever comes next.

    • Breakfast and Dinner included

  • Goodbyes and Heading Home

    • Slow breakfast, last cups of coffee, and a few heartfelt hugs

    • Group transfer back to Edinburgh

    • Breakfast included
